DES MOINES, Iowa – The Thunder Bay Chill will miss the USL2 post-season for a second straight summer.

The visiting Chill gave up an own goal in the 83rd minute on Saturday night and Leroy Enzugusi added another in the 88th as the Des Moines Menace captured a second straight regular-season championship with a 2-0 win.

The loss dropped the Chill to 6-5-2, five points behind second place Kaw Valley FC with just one game left to play.

The Menace are undefeated in 2019 at 11-0-2 and will likely host the Central Conference championship when the playoffs open later this month.

The Chill missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2005 and 2006.
