THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Superior International Hockey League Commissioner Bryan Graham has announced the following suspension:

COLE GOLKA, (F) DRYDEN GM ICE DOGS – TWO (2) GAMES

Player is suspended two games for his actions in SIJHL Game No. 35, Minnesota Iron Rangers @ Dryden GM Ice Dogs, played on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 under Rule 6.5 (c) after being assessed a five-minute major for checking to the head and the subsequent automatic game misconduct.

By league rules, this penalty carries a minimum two-game suspension.  

This suspension will be served during the following games:

SIJHL Game No. 42: Friday, Nov. 7 Thunder Bay @ DRYDEN
SIJHL Game No. 44: Saturday, Nov. 8 Fort Frances @ DRYDEN
