SIJHL: Lakers blank North Stars

Pierce Dushenko was just too much for the Thunder Bay North Stars to handle Saturday night.

The Fort Frances Lakers goalie was perfect in net, stopping 27 of 27 shots faced to lead his team to a 300 shutout win over the visiting Thunder Bay North Stars.

Carter Chorney, Dustin Deugau and Ryley Bosman did the damage offensively for the first-place Lakers (9-2-0).

The fourth-place North Stars  fell to 5-8-1.
