THUNDER BAY - The Thunder Bay Border Cats will be looking towards the ice to get their 2015 regular season finale started.

The Northwoods League baseball club has enlisted Thunder Bay's Patrick Sharp to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Border Cats take on the Duluth Huskies at 5:05 p.m. at Tbaytel Park on Sunday.

The 33-year-old Sharp has spent the past 10 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, claiming hockey's Holy Grail three times. Sharp, who also won an Olympic gold medal in 2014, was traded to the Dallas Stars this offseason.

Thunder Bay has a 15-20 second half record and a 32-38 season mark heading into their finale.
