A visit by the Duluth Clydesdales was all the Thunder Bay North Stars to return to their winning ways.

The Stars got goals from four separate players on Wednesday night, taking out their second-year opponent 4-1.

Devin Fullum, Quinn Rempel, Brennan Dubchak and Matt Kaarela for Thunder Bay, who were without the services of coach Todd Howarth and first-string goalie Marc Nother.

Stefan Kosior, who cut a 2-0, second period North Stars lead in half with a power play goal 7:30 into the middle stanza, was the lone goal scorer for Duluth.

Carter McEachern turned aside 30 shots to earn the win. Matt Arnold was beaten four times on 32 shots at the other end of Fort William Gardens. It was Thunder Bay's fifth win in six tries.

In other Superior International Junior Hockey League news, the circuit was shut out when Hockey Canada named the Team West selection camp roster for the World Junior A Championship being held in Langley, B.C. next month.
But Thunder Bay will be represented at the camp.

Goalie Colin Dzijacky, a graduate of St. Patrick High School, is one of four netminders invited to try out for the team.

Dzijacky plays for the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where he sports a 4-6-2 record and a 3.04 goals against average in 12 appearances.
