Kyle Breukelman had a pair of goals on Wednesday night, leading the Thunder Bay North Stars to their fifth straight win.
Brendan Burge, Brett Biasol and Ryan Henley were the other goal scorers for the Stars in the 5-1 win over the visiting Sioux Lookout Flyers.
Jacob Brown scored the lone goal on Thunder Bay netminder Guillaume Piche, who stopped 22 of 23 shots he faced.
The third-place Stars improved to 27-16-2 in the SIJHL standings, while the Flyers dropped to 10-29-5.
