Thunder Bay Juniors fall in Lethbridge

Thunder Bay threw seven pitchers at the Whalley Little League team from B.C., who scored seven runs in the second inning, en route to a 13-6 trouncing.

Brad Thrower was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Thunder Bay (1-1), while Turner Santin went 1-for-3 with one driven in.

Catcher Josh Jwanda had three RBI on two hits for the British Columbia team.

Ontario takes on Team Atlantic, from Sydney, N.S., on Saturday.

At the Canadian Senior Little League Championship in Regina, the Thunder Bay All-Stars look to rebound Friday night after falling 5-1 to B.C. on opening day on Thursday.

The first pitch is scheduled for 9 p.m. EST.
