The Lakehead Thunderwolves are adding a new camp to their summer hockey school schedule.

From Aug. 22 to 26 the university squad will host the Junior Wolves Elite Pee Wee camp, designed for players participating at the AA and AAA level.

The five-day hockey school will be run by Thunderwolves coach Joel Scherban, and will give players a glimpse at what the everyday life of a hockey player is like.

Players will meet with Scherban and his assistants each morning at 8:15 a.m., head to Port Arthur Arena for on-ice training, followed by dryland workouts at 11 a.m.

"The camp is focused on developing individual skills as well as team concepts and proper hockey-specific conditioning. This camp is something that these young hockey players will remember for the rest of their lives."
