A group of competitive athletes from Ultimate Gymnastics is set to head to Minneapolis this weekend to compete in the Winterfest 2016 Gymnastics competition.

Winterfest, hosted by Perpetual Motion Gymnastics, takes place at the Colin Powell Center in Minneapolis January 16th & 17th.
Now in its 18th year, Winterfest will play host to over 540 gymnasts from 18 visiting clubs hailing from Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota, with Ultimate Gymnastics being the lone entry representing Canada.

Donning the Ultimate blue and green are Bryanne Simmons, Rylan Copeman, Emily Martin, Emily Ukrainec, Christiana Collins and Erica Etreni.

Winterfest marks only the second time Ultimate Gymnastics has competed outside of Ontario, with the club bringing home over 25 medals from the Gopher Invite in Minneapolis last January.
