Josh Unice continued Saturday night his mastery of the Lakehead Thundewolves.

Josh Unice continued Saturday night his mastery of the Lakehead Thundewolves.

The Western Mustangs goalie blanked the Wolves for the third time this season, running his shutout streak against the Thunder Bay hockey squad to 225:53, dating back to last season.

Unice made 17 stops and Zach Harnden, a Thunder Bay native, scored twice as Western (19-2-3) clinched first place in the OUA West and the No. 1 seed throughout the divisional playoffs.

Dominic DeSando and Tyler Peters also scored for the Mustangs.

For the reeling Wolves, the loss marked their fifth straight defeat. They'll hit the road again next weekend, repeating their most recent road trip with stops at Brock and Western.
