Katelyn Andrea was at it again on Friday night.
The third-year forward scored a game-high 26 points and added 10 rebounds to lead Lakehead to a come-from-behind 79-71 win over the host Western Mustangs.
The Thunderwolves stormed out in front early, taking a nine-point lead into the second quarter, but by the time the fourth quarter arrived, LU trailed by a point, 51-50.
Bridget O’Reilly and Gillian Lavoie also hit double digits for the Thunderwolves, who improved to 7-11 in OUA play.
O’Reilly made four three-pointers and finished with 18, while Lavoie was good for 14 points.
Caroline Wolynski had 22 to pace the Mustangs, who were tied for top spot in the OUA West heading into the game, but slipped to 13-6 and will settle for second place.
The Wolves take on OUA West champion Windsor on Saturday in the season-finale for both teams. The Lancers are 13-5.
