Cassandra Soulias and Blair McNaughton hit three apiece for LU, helping the Thunderwolves snap a two-game losing streak.
Soulias led all scorers with 17 points.

In total five Lakehead players hit double digits, including 14 from Jerika Baldin, 13 from Katelyn Andrea and 11 apiece from McNaughton and Bridget O’Reilly.

The Wolves led by as much 21 points, giving back some ground in a high-scoring fourth period that saw the Lions outscore LU 29-22.
Shauney Fischer led York with 12 points, Emma Thompson finishing with 11.

The Wolves improved to 5-7, climbing to within a game of third-place Guelph, who dropped a 75-61 decision to Queen’s, Lakehead’s Saturday night opponent.

York, still winless at home, sank to 2-11.
