The Lakehead Thunderwolves star poured in 35 points Friday night and hauled in 19 rebounds, leading her team to its third straight victory to start the season, a 75-60 thrashing of the No. 6-ranked McMaster Marauders on the road.

Williams is averaging 34 points a game in her second and final season with the Wolves, who have now knocked off two top 10 opponents in three outings.

Forward Essa Jacobsen also had a strong outing for Lakehead, scoring 18 points, while sophomore Katelyn Andreas continued her strong start, collecting seven points and an equal number of boards.

Fifth-year senior Corina Bruni had seven assists and four steals.

Danielle Boiago led the Marauders (2-1), who led by nine in the second quarter, with 28 points.
