Jylisa Williams showed no signs on Saturday of the concussion that prematurely ended her record-setting campaign.

The graduating Lakehead Thunderwolves star stole the show in Kingston at the OUA women’s basketball all-star game, putting up 27 points while grabbing 12 boards and dishing out five assists.

However, her efforts weren’t enough to propel her team, coached by Windsor’s Chantal Vallee, to the win.

Ryerson coach Carly Clarke’s squad eked out a 71-69 win in front of a near-capacity crowd.

“It was fun and games,” Williams said in an OUA release.

“It’s all fund and games through three quarters, but then you get to that fourth quarter and everyone really wants to win, shoes tied up and we’re ready to go.”

Williams, who spent two seasons with the Thunderwolves, is expected to head overseas next season to continue her basketball career.
