The Thunder Bay Chill is getting some Canadian competiton.

Premier Development League officials on Monday announced WSA Winnipeg will join the circuit in 2011, and is expected to start play next summer, playing in the ultra-competitive Heartland Division, the same division the Chill have called home since joining the league.

The PDL’s newest franchise will be owned and operated by Winnipeg’s World Soccer Academy.
