Wolves hockey lands Alcock

The captain of the Kingston Frontenacs is on his way to Thunder Bay. The Lakehead Thunderwolves on Wednesday announced the 21-year-old had agreed to play for the Lakehead Thunderwolves in 2013-14, the first recruit of the Bill McDonald era.

The Lakehead Thunderwolves on Wednesday announced the 21-year-old had agreed to play for the Lakehead Thunderwolves in 2013-14, the first recruit of the Bill McDonald era.

Alcock scored 20 goals and added 23 assists in 67 games for the Frontenacs, collecting a goal and an assist in four playoff contests.

The Oshawa, Ont. native spent four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, also playing for Belleville and Oshawa.
