The second-year forward, a star scorer in the Superior International Junior Hockey League, scored his first goal in two seasons with the Lakehead Thunderwolves, and added an assist for good measure as the Wolves completed a weekend sweep of the UOIT Ridgebacks with a 6-3 road win on Saturday night.

Pierre-Marc Guilbault, Kris Hogg, Matt Caria, Adam Sergerie and Trevor Gamache also replied for Lakehead (7-4-1),who won for the third straight outing.

Lakehead built an early 5-0 lead, but watched the pesky Ridgebacks pull to within a pair on second-period goals by Mike Noyes, Matt Pasztor and Kyle Wetering.

Alex Dupuis made 21 saves in the win.

Lakehead hosts Nipissing next weekend at Fort William Gardens.
