On Friday, coming off a pair of losses to Windsor at home, Lindsay Druery and Sarah Gordon each posted 20 points as the Lakehead Thundwolves cruised to a 73-59 win over the winless Waterloo Warriors on Friday night.

Lacey McNulty added 16 for the Wolves (11-6). Waterloo was paced by a game-high 22 by Saraya Hickey who had 16.

McKenna, who began the night 70 points behind Harrison, needs 59 to tie the mark, set between 1988 and 1993.

The Wolves and Warriors will play again on Saturday.
