Wolves women rally to beat Waterloo

It’s back to .500 for the Lakehead Thunderwolves women’s basketball team.

Carolyn Fragale dropped 18 points on the winless Waterloo Warriors and rookie Jessica de Haan added 16 to go with seven rebounds to lead LU (4-4) to a 73-64 come-from-behind triumph on the road. Katie Ulakovic had 14 for Lakehead, who trailed by three heading into the final quarter, only to out-score their opponent 73-64.

Laura Bossers equaled Fragale with 18 points to lead Waterloo (0-8).

The Wolves are tied for fourth place in the OUA West.
