Adalgisa Bacci

Mrs. Adalgisa Bacci (nee Stilla), passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday October 4, 2018.

Adalgisa was loved and respected by all and will be sadly missed by her husband Vinicio Bacci of 59 years; her children Roberta (Terry) Kells, John, Emma (Marc) Shwaluk, and Teresa (Evan) Caves; her grandchildren Katie, Sabrina, and Matthew Kells, Jessica (Steve) Lind, and Vanessa Shwaluk; as well as her great-grandchildren Emma Shwaluk and Claire Lind. Many family members in Thunder Bay, British Columbia, Italy, and the USA also survive her. Adalgisa was predeceased by her parents Francesco and Emma Stilla; in-laws Giovanni and Roberta Bacci; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 leaving the Harbourview Funeral Centre at 9:30 a.m. to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, 123 Hilldale Road, for the Funeral Mass to be celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini concelebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla, V.G. beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Andrew`s Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening October 10, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, with vigil prayers at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Adalgisa to Wesway Thunder Bay, Community Living Thunder Bay, or Thunder Bay Special Olympics.
