Adam Nicholas Achneepineskum

Adam Nicholas Achneepineskum, age 44 years passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Adam was a member of the Marten Falls First Nation. He loved his family especially his children Kristian, Nehemiah and Sunset Achneepineskum, his common-law wife Rachel and her children and his grandchildren.

He was a man of many talents; an artist and a self-taught musician, writing songs, carpentry, etc. He loved to make people laugh and tell jokes, as well as playing jokes.

Adam will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kristian, Nehemiah and Sunset Achneepineskum, his common-law wife Rachel Wapoose and her children, parents Rosie and Albert Achneepineskum, brothers Chris and Patrick Achneepineskum and sisters Norma and Renee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, friends and other relatives. Adam was predeceased by his grandparents and brother Albert and aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 12-2pm Wednesday, September 27, 2017 and Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 2-2:30pm. A funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Sargent & Son Funeral Home.
