It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Brother and Uncle Adam with family by his side. On Thursday, October 15, 2015, Adam, age 51 died peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center. Adam was born on July 31, 1964 in Kashabowie, ON to his parents Toussant and Rose Shebobman.
Adam had very fond memories growing up in Kashabowie with his 9 sisters and 4 brothers.
He also took pride in spending time with his nieces and nephews. Some of Adam's favourite pastimes include fishing, biking, hockey and walking up the tracks in Kashabowie to roast hot dogs with family and friends. Throughout Adam's life he was employed with KBM Forestry, Sears Canada and the Old Fort William. Adam was a loving soul with a laugh that will forever be remembered.
Adam was predeceased by his parents, Toussant and Rose, brothers Roy, Arnold, Ronnie, Edward and sister Nora. He is survived by his sisters Shirley and Richard, Julie and Bill Rusnak, Frances, Linda, Irene, Doris and Rick Fillion, Theresa and Larry Edwards and Joan and Daniel Cheney; and also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews.
Funeral services for the late Adam Shebobman will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, October 19 at St. Anne's Church on the Fort William First Nation. Prayers will be held on Sunday, October 18 from 10-12 pm at Jenkens Funeral Home. Burial services will be done at a later date.
