Aime Legros

It is with broken hearts that the family of Aime Joseph Legros announce his peaceful passing on Friday August 26 2022 in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. 

Born in Rainy River on December 13 1945 to his parents Raoul and Noella Legros.  The family moved to Kaministiqua in the early 1950’s and Aime called Kam home for the rest of his life.

A carpenter by profession, he took extreme pride in his work.  The home he built on the Dog River was his pride and joy.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years Gayle, his son Rene (Debbie, Ryan, Francois, Lumi), his daughter Lori Nichol (Tim), brothers Henri (Sandra), Archie (Linda), Louis (Shirley), sister Claudette McGrath (Gary), Marlene (Ted) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Raoul and Noella, father in law and mother in law Alvar and Dagmar Silen, his twin brothers in infancy Jacques and Jean, brother Roger, sister Lucienne Ranta, brother in law Marty, sister Adele, sister Leona, brother in law Gerald, Eli.

Arrangements are in the care of Jenkens Funeral Home. Interment at Dog River Cemetery will be held on September 10, 2022 at Noon, followed by a Celebration of life from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kam Community Center Hwy 102 RR1 Kaministiqua.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association or Dog River Cemetery-very much appreciated.  Thank You!
