Alan MacDonald

Mr. Alan MacDonald age 82 years a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Alan enjoyed Country Music, Camping, and watching Hockey. Swimming was a passion of Alan's and he was proud of being a champion swimmer at a young age. He worked for 25 years with Saskatchewan Wheat Pool retiring at age 55. 

Alan will be lovingly remembered by his son Brian Legarde (Melissa), grandchildren; Brooke-lynn, Dallas, Jorja, Austin and Dayton, great-grandson Easton, and brother Ian MacDonald.

He was predeceased by his partner Peggy "Margaret" Price and sister Rosslyn Davidson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Ed Long presiding. Following the service cremation will take place and a private interment will be held at later date.
