It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and good friend Alfred Scott. Al was the loving husband of Yolanda (Lundy) Scott (deceased). He is survived by his children Donald MacLeod (Fabio) – Toronto, Robert MacLeod (Onlee) – Edson, Alberta, Janet Packulak (Fred) – Fisher Branch, Manitoba and Timothy MacLeod (Sherry) – Winnipeg, Manitoba and David Scott – Thunder Bay. Al has 16 grandchildren, Ian (Krystal), Megan (Christian), Kevin (Corinne), Heather (Ian), Scott (Cassandra), Caila, Brieanne, Reegan (Paula), Nikki (Cody), Timothy, Jamie, Jocelyn (Edouard), Tyler, Cassandra (Matt), Charissa (Jeff), Chris (Raisa), and eight great-grandchildren.

Al started his career working at Wilport Realty and later became a partner with Lannon Realty. After seeing how successful his wife Lundy was selling real estate, Lundy and Al decided to open their own firm Lun-Dal Realty and enjoyed many wonderful years working together.

Aside from his prominent real estate career, Al enjoyed spending much of his time fishing and hunting in the Thunder Bay area. When the weather kept Al inside, he was an avid painter and loved to share his paintings with family and friends. Al loved to tell humorous stories and always had a new joke to share. Al was also fortunate to be surrounded by excellent neighbours, who looked out for his well-being and appetite for great meals.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 24 at 1:00pm, at Jenkens Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Italian Hall on Algoma St.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
