Passed away peacefully at Southbridge Pinewood on November 23, 2021 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Armand (August 10, 1989). Fondly remembered by her sons Donald (Heather) and David (Joanne), her 3 grandchildren David, Christopher and Tyler, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Bowling was Alice’s passion. She bowled for 70 years, winning numerous awards and The Canadian Championship in 1981. Mom earned her place in the Nationals many different times. She volunteered to drive cancer patients to their appointments for 20 plus years. Alice was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and loved her exercise classes there where she enjoyed fellowship. She liked to travel and went to Scotland a couple of times to see her cousin. Mom loved to go to Ignace to see Aunt Jessie at her camp and her cousin Dot. She also went to California to visit her friend Norma Shaw.
She lived independently for many years until her health issues caused her to move into Southbridge Pinewood. A thank you to Dr. Reid and Dr. Janhunen for your professionalism and care you showed towards Mom.
