Allan Frederick Aegard

Allan Frederick Aegard passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2022.

Dad was born June 12, 1939 in Fort William. He lived in Pass Lake until he moved to Thunder Bay in 1997.

He was a heavy duty mechanic employed by various automotive garages and Shuniah Forest Products until his retirement.

He was a talented wood worker and spent a lot of time at the Fix It Club at the 55+ Center.

He was predeceased by his parents Olga and Holger Aegard, brother Willy and sister Marie Haber.

He will be sadly missed by daughter Leslie Indrevold (Jake), son John (Victoria) in Seattle, Washington, and brother Gordon (Pat). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchild, along with extended family and friends.

Respecting his wish and to honour his request, there will be no memorial service. A private family gathering to celebrate his life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations to Pass Lake Salem Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
