Anastasia (Betty) Lindholm

The family of Anastasia (Betty) Lindholm sadly announce the passing of our dear mother on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

She will be remembered for her loving ways and her many acts of kindness. She was always there to help and be supportive when needed. She was “famous” for her tasty perogies, which she loved to make for everyone. We called her the Perogi Queen. She was obsessed with picking blueberries and making her special pies.

Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, Paul Lindholm on August 17, 2020. Together they made many trips to Branson, Missouri to attend concerts of their favourite country singers. They were devoted to each other.

She is survived by her sons Edward and Ralph (Anne); daughter Margaret (Ray); grandchildren Melissa, Sean, Amber, Allan, Lisa, Ryan; several great grandchildren and their families.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, with friends and family gathering at the main gate of Riverside Cemetery at 1:00pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
