Andy Siman

Andrew ‘Andy’ passed away on October 7, 2018. Andy celebrated his 90th birthday this past July.

He was born on July 18, 1928 in Pohorela, Czechoslovakia to parents Josef and Mary Siman. He came to Canada on September 23, 1933 to start a new life in Upsala. The family later relocated to South Neebing where he lived ever since. He was employed for 35 plus years with the CN Rail where he held various positions.

He is survived by his sisters Irene Trendiak and Mary (Edward) Wronoski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Slovakia. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Julia Precosky, and brothers-in-law Sandy Precosky and Walter Trehdiak.

As per Andy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital – 5 North, 4 South and 4 North for the care and compassion given to Andy.
