Angela Mammoliti (nee Barbiero) age 80 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on January 27, 2017 after a lengthy illness. 

Born September 1, 1936 in Pedivigliano, Province of Cosenza, Italy.  Angela travelled to Canada to join her husband in 1957 settling in Fort William. 

Angela’s main interest, were her home and family.  She loved to garden, to cook for family and friends, knitting and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and grand dogs.  Survived by sons, Salvatore, Frank (Arlene), Tony (Jenn) and daughter Serafina (Brian), Grandchildren Joseph Benvenuto (Jaclynn), Victoria Racco (Cosimo), Melissa, Kayla Nayanookeesic (Mike), Pasquale, Salvatore, Great Grandchildren Madison Mammoliti, Ava & Makaila Racco, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by husband Pasquale in November 2015, infant son Tony, four infant grandchildren and siblings. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, at St. Patrick's Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G.. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Blake Funeral Chapel from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with prayers offered at 7:00pm. 

If friends desire, memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.   Angela Mammoliti will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 10, 2018.
