It is with great sadness and grief the family of Angie Lynch are announcing her passing.
Our beloved Angie passed peacefully on the evening of Friday, October 8th, 2021, with family surrounding her. Just as we were with her, her beautiful spirit is now with each and every one of us.
Angela Susan Lynch (nee. Wilson) was born on October 11, 1964 in Pampa, Texas to Loretta and Cliff Wilson. The family welcomed a second child in 1967, Douglas, and moved to Thunder Bay in 1970. Angie attended Agnew H. Johnson, followed by Sir Winston Churchill C.V.I, and Lakehead University, where she attained an Honours Bachelor Degree in social work. More than anything, Angie was committed to helping others and giving a voice to those deprived of one. She had a tenacious spirit and truly fought for the underdog.
Predeceased by her father, Cliff Wilson, Angie leaves behind her husband Sean, sons Ryan and Peter, mother Loretta, brother Douglas (Angela), and nieces Danica and Ava. Her memory will be forever cherished.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date once Covid restrictions have lessened.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to make donations to The Underground Gym, as Angie knew better than anyone that healing a community starts with our children.
