Mrs. Aniela (Angela) Borejsza, age 81 years passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Angela was born in Stubno, Poland on June 8, 1933. She came to Canada in April 1961 and married Stan Borejsza. Together they started their family, raising two children and building both of their homes in Port Arthur. Angela worked in housekeeping at Dawson Court for 13 years before her retirement. She loved life and had many hobbies including gardening, baking, cooking and travelling. She and her daughter Diane, travelled around the world together.
Angela will be missed by her loving family, her children, Diane and Ed and daughter-in-law Alison; granddaughter Aliya and numerous relatives in Poland.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1984.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Aniela Borejsza will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 with family and friends gathering in St. Mary's Our Lady Queen of Poland Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:00am celebrated by Fr. Ireneusz Stadler. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
