It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anna Szwaczka announces her passing on November 25, 2018 with her family by her side, at the age of 96 years.
Anna came to Canada from the Ukraine with her husband and sons, settling in Westfort for most of her life before moving to Edmonton in 2014. Her family has always been the pride and joy of her life, but Anna (Baba) truly loved her church, making perogies, getting together with friends and going to bingo.
Anna will always be remembered for her kind heart, sweet soul and infectious laugh, always drawing people towards her.
She will live on through the loving memories of her loved ones: daughter, Mary and grandchildren, Brady and Sasha of Edmonton, granddaughter Debbie (Sean) of Calgary, granddaughter Robin (Jay) and great grandchildren Caleb and Colby of Moonstone, as well as extended family and friends. Anna was predeceased by her husband Ewan (John) and sons, Walter, Jake and Jerry. As per her wishes, a private family interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery.
