Anne Hrabok (nee Knihnitski), born August 26, 1926, passed away peacefully January 29, 2019 in her sleep.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Hrabok of 73 years marriage. She was born in Prud’homme, Saskatchewan and moved to Fort William, Ontario in 1945. She was predeceased by her parents Annie and Steve Knihnitski, daughter Joyce Lee and son Marvin Hrabok.
She is survived by her son Joseph (Noella) and their four sons Mark (Nicole), Steven (Tania), Kevin and Jonathan and grandchildren Shirley-Anne, Robert and James.
Anne enjoyed her home life, gardening and working as a Custodian at Westgate High School in the 1970’s. She especially enjoyed making perogies and cabbage rolls with her husband Joseph. The grandchildren always said that her perogies and cabbage rolls “rock”.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be posted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thank you to the staff at Southbridge Lakehead for their wonderful care of Mom.
