Mrs. Anne Syvitski age 96 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in Hogarth-Riverview Manor, on Monday, December 26, 2016.

Anne was born and raised in Molson Manitoba. She received her education there and came to Fort William in 1945. She was married to the love of her life John Syvitski October 8 1955. Anne was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Catholic Womens League, She loved to work around her home and tend to her garden. Anne was a loving, kind and caring person.

She loved to travel and she and John spent many winters in Texas. Anne is survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, at St. Patrick's Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G..  

Inurnment will follow in Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum, St. Andrews Cemetery. Prayers will be offered December 29, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel.  If friends desire, memorials to St. Joseph’s Care Group Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

 Anne Syvitski will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
