The family announces the peaceful passing of Annie Skribka on Monday, January 7, 2019 to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Annie passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Annie was born in Fort William on March 11, 1933. She spent her younger years as a waitress at various establishments in the city and raising her 4 children.

Annie is predeceased by her parents Annibale and Mary Furioso, siblings Doris Furioso, Rose Ward (Jimmy), Millie Greer (Crawford), Joseph Furioso (Betty) and Dorothy Furioso. Annie is survived by her son Richard Skribka (Debra) daughter Patricia Boucha (Ernie) Red Lake, sons Ernie and Michael Skribka, siblings Ken (Pat), Jim (Carol) and Richard, Grandchildren Carlie, Jade, Jasmine, Valerie, Jennifer and Michael and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Dr. Kevin Miller, St. Elizabeth nursing and Bayshore Home Support. Funeral Mass for Annie will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G.  Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Prayers will be offered on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 7:00 pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel.
