Our Family is sad to announce that our son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and friend, Anthony (Tony Jr) Samuel DePerry passed away peacefully on March 26, 2021in Edmonton Alberta with his sisters Tammy Robinson and Laurie DePerry by his side.

During Tony Jr’s life, he has traveled to Florida for a year, also from Toronto to Edmonton, He loved to drive. He enjoyed the company of family, friends & others. Teaching his nieces & nephews a thing or two, loved playing pranks on them. He also was involved in his traditional ways as a fire keeper/helper, he had assisted in the Water Walk with the Late Josephine Mandamin. Walking around one of the great lakes. Tony loved to cook and BBQ all year round, he helped cared for family in time of need. Tony was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back for people, very friendly, kind, loving, funny, and loved to laugh.

Cremation took place in Edmonton Alberta, Celebration of life will take place in Longlac, Ontario on June 18, 2021 time will be determined.

Predeceased: Mother Levina DePerry, niece Tiffany DePerry, great niece Singing Bird, Grand Parents, and numerous aunties and uncles.

Survived by: Son Todd Meeseetawageesic, Father Tony Sr (Sandra) DePerry, Sister Tammy (Michael), Nieces & Nephews: Joshua (Chinmoyee), Chantal, Nicole (Katrina), Andrew
Sister Laurie, Nieces & Nephew: Brittany, Chris (Shy), Marisol. Numerous Great Nieces and Nephews.

A Very Big Thank you to Alvin Fiddler, and Nishnawbe Aski Nation for the support provided during this time. Thank you also to Ginoogaming First Nation, and to Long Lake #58 First Nations for their support during this difficult time.

A small gathering of friends and family will take place privately.

Tony will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
