It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Rich. Beloved mother, nanny, Aunt and friend on August 29, 2015.

Audrey was born in Sault Ste. Marie on April 27/1933. She later moved to Fort William with her family while she was young. Audrey then attended St. Patrick’s elementary, St. Pat’s High School and later attending school to fulfill her career as a nurse. Her interests included bingo, socializing with her friends, supporting her children & grandchildren in all they did, and her famous card games. In 1953 Audrey married the love of her life, Sam Rich.

Together they created a foundation of love & inspiration for the entire family. A devoted mother and nanny, Audrey never missed an opportunity to support & watch her family shine.

Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren were her pride & joy and never missed an opportunity to show how proud she was. Audrey’s faith in God & St. Margurit D’ville sustained her through all the illness’s she and her family went through. She was a faithful member of St. Agnes’ parish and the Catholic Women’s League. For many years The Church was a huge part in Audrey’s life.

Audrey is survived by children Debbie (Bob), John (Donna), Wayne (Barb), Janice (Daryl); Marianne; grandchildren Jennifer, Danny (Krista) & Dennis (Kirsten) Pradal, Carly & Katy (Ben) Rich, Michelle (Tyler), and Mark (Amanda) Rich, Brittany (Ray) and Samantha (Ian) McCoy, Logan McDonald; great grandchildren Ashlee Vacchiano, Joshua & Julia Pradal, Lily Pradal, Khloe Buamann & Caden & Colton Rich & Caleb Solomon, and great great grandchildren Caleb Readman. Audrey is also survived by sister Jeanette Kurceba and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her father and mother Fred & Mildred Boutotte, sister Lorraine Antoniak & brother-in-laws Rudy Antoniak & Bill Kurceba & Ed & Bertha Boutotte.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015, when family and friends will gather for funeral mass at 12:10pm, at St. Agnes Church celebrated by Rev. James Panikulam. Vigil services will be offered on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 7:00pm at St. Agnes Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Audrey’s memory to The CMT International & The Heart and Stroke foundation.

Audrey Rich will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
