The family of Austin John Kitchikeesic sadly announce his passing on August 4, 2025. Austin was born on May 31st, 2002, in the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario. His memory will strongly live on in the hearts of his parents Christine Roundhead (Ryan Morris) and Larry Kitchikeesic (Wendy Nodin). Forever in the hearts of his siblings Precious-Louisa Roundhead, Damien Morris, Larrissa Faith Kitchikeesic, Saul Kitchikeesic, and Aanzhenii Barbra Nodin (sister Jenny). Forever missed by his nephews Miguel J Thiago and Carlos J Montana, his grandmother Marilyn Roundhead and great-grandmother Jean Roundhead. He will be lovingly remembered by great Aunt Liza Spade and extended family and friends.
Growing up as a child, Austin had a lively personality and from a young age, you could tell his heart was genuine and filled with love. He always did the right thing.
He attended school at Ecole Gron Morgan during his elementary years and moved onto Hammarskjold High School.
Austin was on his way to finding a job. He found a way to make his money by doing what he loved best, video games. When he wasn’t out on the town with his friends, he was at home working out and streaming on twitch, playing with his online community, who will also miss him dearly. Austin was a strong, independent young man who always valued and put his family first.
A funeral service to celebrate Austin’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent and Son Funeral Chapel, 21 North Court Street. The interment will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.sargentandson.com
