It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our sister, mother, grandma and friend “Barb” Lucy Barbie Anne Campbell. She passed away peacefully at St. Josephs Care Group in Thunder Bay, Ontario on Friday October 21st 2022.
Barb is predeceased by her parents Anne Campbell, fathers Noah Campbell and Glen Selman; sisters Lavina Campbell, Anita Campbell; brothers Burt Wood, Collin Campbell and daughter Kory Campbell. She is survived by her siblings Philip, Joseph, Jessie, Christine, Glen, Glenda, Becky, Brett and Tamarah; children Kelly, Kelsey, Kailey ,Kira, Joshua, Kris, Konnor, Keegan and Kinsley;
grandchildren Aria, Azmariah, Jenivah, Kingston and Adia as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Despite the many hardships she experienced throughout her life, Barb managed to fight her battles with courage and maintained a warrior’s attitude until the end. She made effort to spread love and frequently offered those in need a place to stay or company.
She will be greatly missed by her good friends and loved ones.
Her family would like to thank all of the medical teams, nurses and doctors from White Cedar, TBRHSC and St. Josephs Care Group for all of their compassion, patience and kindness.
