Barbara Bazdarick

Barbara Bazdarick, age 81 years, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2021. Barbara was born January 10, 1940 in Port Arthur. She worked as a clerk at the Thunder Bay District Jail and later as a switchboard operator at the Nurses Registry. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband Ed, and in recent years had taken up needle point. One of her works was selected for display at the Ontario Association of Agriculture Societies in Toronto. She was a long-time member of the Port Arthur Curling Club and curled regularly until age 80.

Barbara will be remembered by her sons Mike (Janet) and Glen (Patti); grandchildren Leanne (Dillon) Glasser, Danny (Samantha), Katie (Kevin) DeGagne and Margaret,and great grandson Colton. She will also be remembered by two sisters Marjorie Payetta and Carol Skuta. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Ed, parents Gertrude (Hand) and Dave Frost and her brother Bill Frost.

At Barbara’s request, a private Graveside Service will take place Saturday, October 16, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sandra Schmirler Foundation would be appreciated.
