It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Rose Kentner.
Barbara passed away peacefully July 4th 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Thunder Bay at the age of 34.
Barbara was born August 21st, 1982 at the Port Arthur General Hospital in Thunder Bay. Barbara had many enjoyments in her life. She loved playing Bingo, spending time with family especially with the children. She looked forward to watching the food network as well as Netflix. Spending time with all her friends was another long time enjoyment of hers.
Predeceased by: Father (Roy Boucher) 2002, Mother (Mildred [Maude] Kentner) 2004. Grandparents: Jack & Margaret Boucher and John & Myrtle Robinson as well as John Kooshet and Chief Mary Rose. Survived by loving daughter: Serena Kentner; sisters: Melissa Kentner (Kyle McKay), Cheryl Kentner, Connie Kentner. Half-sisters: Patience Reid, Amanda (Gilbert) Boucher; Half-brother: Terrie (Mike) Forneri. Brother: Jason (Lisa) Boucher. Neices and Nephews: (Pat’s Children) Stephanie Knott, Brenden, Tristan, Quintin, Jamie-Lynn, Macaela, Christina, Isiah, and Markus (Roy Maxwell’s Boys) Jasmine, Annabelle. Great Nephews: Edwin and Remy. Barbara Especially loved it when Debbie would bring Baby Acher to see her. She enjoyed spending her last little while sitting, talking to him and feeding him. She always had time for her special friend Stan Voltaros as well. Barbara is survived by numerous Aunts and Uncles as well as Cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will take place at 10:00 am. Interment at Sunset Memorial Garden
