It is with heavy hearts that the children of Beatrice Swanson announce her peaceful passing on September 7 with son, Bruce by her side.
Mom was predeceased by her parents Emil and Ester Kittila and Elmer, her loving husband of 64 years. She leaves to mourn, her children, Eleanor (Fred); Sharon; Elmer
(Nomie); Dorothy (Vance); Penny (Dave); Svea; Bruce; Brian (Rita); Glen (Bernie) and her brother, Ben Kittila as well as so many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom was an avid crafter and loved to crochet. Something would catch her eye and she could duplicate it in an instant to the joy of those who were the benefactor of such treasures.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Beatrice Swanson will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home.
We would like to thank the caring and dedicated staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor who took such great care of Mom and to the help received from Superior Elder Care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
