Beatrice Ferguson
It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Beatrice May Ferguson at the Transitional Care Unit, Hogarth Riverview Manor, 16 days after her 95th birthday.

Mom was a waitress at the Royal Edward Hotel and Airlane Hotel. She took great pride in her work and the exceptional service that she provided.

She loved taking care of her family, her flower garden and crocheting, which she continued to do until her passing.

Predeceased by her husband Albert Ferguson; son Randy Ferguson; brothers Clarence and Edward Saunders; sister Carol Anne McLean; nephew Bruce Wade; niece Viola Sanderson and her parents Herbert and May Saunders.

Survived by her son Dale Ferguson (Brenda); daughter Sharon Bryenton (Terry); sisters Dorothy Wade and Isabel Lindsey; daughter-in-law Jane Ferguson; grandchildren Aaron Lange (Mark), Christopher Ferguson (Stephanie), Marsha Ferguson (Rocky), Tracy Cuffe (Rick) and Terri Anne Nicholson (Greg); 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Interment with family will take place at a later date.

The family would like to thank everyone at Sister Lila Greco Apartments for the kindness and love that they showed to our Mom for over eight years. She loved every one of you. Thanks also to the staff of the Transitional Care Unit Cedar, who treated Mom with tender care and compassion during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay or Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be appreciated.
