Bernice Laura Dance

It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Bernice Laura Dance (Chikoski) announce her passing after a lengthy illness, on Friday July 30, 2021, at the age of 80 years.

Bernice will be lovingly remembered by her children Evelyn (Dave) Morrison, Rose Dance and Peter (Rita) Dance. Also left to mourn, her grandchildren Angela (Jason) Wittig, David Morrison Jr., Tyler (Danielle) Macleay, Cora-Lee Lavhey, 6 great grandchildren, her brothers Andrew (Pat) Chikoski, Neil (Ione) Chikoski and Louis Chikoski.

Predeceased by her husband George, sons Michael & James, her parents Mike & Gabrielle Chikoski, brothers Reg & Jerry Chikoski, sisters-in-law Lucy & Jo-Anne Chikoski and grandson Allen Siciliano.

A funeral Mass in memory of Bernice will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 12:10 p.m. in St. Agnes Church with interment to follow at St. Andrews Cemetery. Those wishing to view the service from home may do so at the St. Agnes Church facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/stagnesrc/).

The family would like to extend a loving and heartfelt thank you to the nurses and PSW’s at Southbridge Pinewood Court as well as Dr.’s Ruby and Steve Klassen for their exceptional care and compassion for Bernice. A special thank you to Alex at Blake Funeral Chapel for her compassion to the family and for going above and beyond to accommodate us through this difficult time.
