It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of William (Billy) Stolz, age 18, a resident of Thunder Bay on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. Billy was born on July 15, 1999 in Russia. He was very passionate about singing and dancing. Billy loved Harry Potter, Disney and Musicals. Former student of St. Patrick High School and was currently attending Confederation College. He worked at McDonalds. Billy survived by his parents Wendy and Tony, his sisters Julia, Melissa and her fiancé Michael Bruce. He was also survived by his grandparents Theresa and Tony, uncle and aunts, Cathy and John Maydanski, Tom and Diana Marie, Joseph and Suneeka, Cindy and Val Frankis, Carol and Brent Cline, Karen Slemko and Murray Andrews and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Captain William and Grace Shields and Uncle Jim.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00am, at St. Patrick's Cathedral celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G.. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday September 11 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel.
