Bob Albertson

Bob Albertson, age 72, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at TBRHSC with family at his side.

After years of installing flooring, Bob established “The Remnant House” on Simpson Street in 1975. He then moved on and built “Quality Carpet” on Fort William Road in 1996.

His passion was hunting and he looked forward to the start of hunting season and his travels to Daytona and Las Vegas for Nascar Racing. His greatest love was his five grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years Tonia; son Robbie (Adele Vaillant); daughter Tara (Darrin) Mohring; grandchildren Justin and Tyler Mohring, Noah, Emma and Lily Albertson. Bob was predeceased by his father Clifford, mother Marion, brother Richard and sister Marlene Stockla.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will follow at a later date.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at the NorWester Hotel, Hwy. 61, on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. If so desired, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital the ABI Unit.
