Brendan Michael Pelletier, 56, of FWFN passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. 

Brendan is predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Catherine Pelletier; aunts Patricia Pelletier, Catherine Collins and Frances Morriseau. Brendan is survived by his parents Louis and Eleanor Pelletier; his children Matthew (Kaitlin) and Autumn and their mother Suzanne Pelletier (Jerry); grandchildren Layla and Emma; his brothers Louis Jr., Dan (Cathy) and Allan (Valerie), Anita, Cathy, Adrienne, Jenny (Dean); his supportive partner Hollie Sault; and countless family, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Godson.  He will be missed greatly especially by his friends Chris, Joe, Ron, Michael, Steve and Mike. Brendan was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Blind River on September 15, 1960 to Louis and Eleanor Pelletier.  Brendan is a loving father and proud grandfather. 

He is a passionate golfer, fisherman and poker player.  He enjoyed his quiet mornings which usually involved reading the newspaper and playing “his picks” while watching anything sports.  He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, hanging with his buddies, an occasional “walkabout”,  listening to classic Rock, watching old westerns, hockey and slapstick comedy. 

Brendan was a proud member of Fort William First Nation and a member of St. Anne’s church. 

He gave his strong work ethic and integrity to Northwestern Ontario as a welder with the Plumbers and Pipefitters union local 628 for over 27 years. He will be greatly missed by all friends, family and those who enjoyed his company and humour. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 when family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Brendan’s Life with the Funeral Mass at St. Anne’s Mission Church FWFN at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Larry Kroker s.j. 

Prayers will also be held at St. Anne’s Mission Church at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016.  If friends desire, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

 Brendan Pelletier will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
