Passed away at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 69.
Predeceased by parents Jack Moggey and Doris Guitard (nee Brown). Loving father of Tara Pagnani (Daniel), and proud grandfather of Alexander and Jack. Dear brother of Wayne Moggey (Marie), Sheila Bonwick (Farrell Henzel), Patty Guitard, and Diane Findlay (Norm). Fondly remembered by his first wife and lifelong friend Janet MacDonald. Brian will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, as well as family and friends both in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. Brian was an Ironworker for Local 759 for 39 years. He was also a true family-man and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with those he loved. He enjoyed fishing every chance he got, he had a passion for music, playing the drums and cooking. Above all he enjoyed attending his grandson’s activities especially their hockey games and Pokémon tournaments. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Trillium Health Partners for their kindness, compassion and the excellent care provided.
As per Brian’s wishes, Private Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Friday, October 16, 2020 beginning at 12 noon until the time of Service, which will commence at 1:00pm. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of guests who may attend.
