Mrs. Bruna Mary Comuzzi age 83 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, July 13, 2015.
Born and raised in Fort William, Bruna attended St. Peter’s and the Vocational Schools. She married William Comuzzi on October 14, 1952 in St. Dominic’s (East End) Church. He predeceased her in February of this year. Her working years were spent at Western Grocers.
Bruna was always active in her church and the Catholic Womens League. She loved to have family over and took great pride in caring for them and looking after her home. She is survived by her son William Jr; granddaughter Ashley, grandson Kyle, sister Annette Comuzzi and sister-in-law Norma Maronese and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Ben and Elvira Maronese, brother Stan Maronese and brother-in-law Joseph Comuzzi.
Funeral services will be held on, Monday July 20, 2015, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Agnes Church on the corner of Brown and Mary Streets, celebrated by Rev. James Panikulam. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation for friends and family will take place Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire, memorials to their charity of choice would be appreciated.
Bruna Comuzzi will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
